If you are aware of a problem with a patient’s ride or any other component of service, please call us at 1-866-331-6004 and we will help you.
Whenever we can, we will be happy to send the company the patient prefers for their ride.
The patient, someone in their family, a person who takes care of them or their medical office can call to request a ride.
Call at least 3 days before the patient needs a ride to their medical appointment. If you do not call at least 3 days before, you may not be able to get a ride. You can schedule a ride, with less than 3 days’ notice, only for special medical trips such as when a person is being released from the hospital.

Rides to medical appointments are for people who are on Medicaid and have no other way to get a ride. The patient’s medical problem should not be an emergency. If you have an emergency you should call 911.
LogistiCare will ask questions about the patient’s health and the kinds of things they can do. Your answer will help us determine what kind of vehicle will be used for their ride.
LogistiCare will decide what time the patient will be picked up. We will do this by determining how long it will take to drive the patient to their medical appointment.
